Waste Management

Elior pledges to comply with current environmental legislation and best practices to achieve a balance between economic, social and environmental responsibilities. We are committed to avoiding damage to the environment by any of our actions and operations.
Our waste management strategy has been developed in consultation with our service partners, SITA Waste Management Services, specifically to meet our clients requirements.
EIS fully understands the refuse, waste oil, toxic waste and feminine hygiene requirements and remain fully committed to reduce waste, in particular, the element of waste that is diverted to landfill.
We will closely and effectively manage our service partner to ensure that they provide a timely and efficient service. We will also review their service to see if any efficiency can be gained from a better way of working or by introducing innovation. Our Service Director will manage SITA and the waste management service, ensuring that a courteous and reliable service is maintained at all times.
We will ensure that SITA fulfils its contractual commitments while adhering to all health and safety requirements for all aspects of this service. This will include ensuring that they adhere to relevant SSPs and SSIs, such as SSI 17/Issue 2A (Safe Management of Special Waste).
By integrating waste and recycling services, increasing recyclables and reducing landfill quantities, EIS can help bring people together and improve image and morale.
Elior Integrated Services are accredited with ISO 14001.
